German theologian Karl Barth famously said “Keep the Bible in one hand, and the newspaper in the other.”
We often instinctively know that the Bible teaches us to respond to what we read in the newspaper, but we’re just as often unsure how, or whether, to do so! Good Shepherd’s Advocacy Team is here to help! Join us at 10:15 am (on Sundays, May 9 and 16) at the Faith Forum where we’ll discuss the why’s and how’s of fulfilling our baptismal promise to “strive for justice and peace among all people, and respect the dignity of every human being.”
