SENIOR SINGLES
Join us for Food, Fun and Road Trips!
OUR NEXT DINNER MEETING
On Friday, June 26, at 5:30 pm, the Senior Singles will celebrate our country’s 250th birthday at Marcia Poirier’s home. Bring ready-to-eat food for a summer picnic. Marcia does not have a grill but has space to refrigerate or keep warm whatever you bring. Libations are always welcome. This will be very casual as we will be eating indoors, outdoors or wherever. Dress in your patriotic clothes and plan for a fun evening. You might want to bring a sweater or jacket in case it gets cool in the evening. RSVP to Connie Branton (use the button below). She will send you Marcia’s address or answer any questions you may have.
Do you consider yourself a senior? (AARP says that includes anyone 50+.) If you find yourself in these best years of your life and are widowed, divorced or never married, we encourage you to join us. We meet monthly for a meal and enjoy good food, conversation and friendship. Our potluck dinner meetings usually have an epicurean theme. In the past we’ve enjoyed French cuisine, BBQ, Mediterranean, heritage homeland foods and so much more.
Or join us for local excursions or road trips like our trip to visit Palisade wineries and the trip to Breckenridge to hear the National Repertory Orchestra Pops Concert.
Our times together have created many friendships, especially for those new to our church. Members who are part of diverse groups at Good Shepherd also find our dinners give them a chance to connect with others.
