Reaching Our Kids for Christ
Welcome to Good Shepherd’s Children’s Ministry! Our Children’s Ministry Director is Sue Lefant. Sue received her Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation, with an emphasis in children, from CU Boulder and has a true passion for reaching kids for Christ. Her mission is to nurture children’s faith through engaging, age-appropriate programs.
Every Sunday (except Easter and Christmas), we offer Godly Play for ages 3–2nd grade and Living the Good News (a liturgical curriculum) for 3rd–5th graders—both designed to deepen spiritual growth. Children join worship at 10:20 AM, then reunite with families during The Peace. Special events like Easter egg hunts, Advent liturgies, and all-church picnics enrich the year. Wiggles are welcome in services, and "busy bags" are available for restless little ones. Join us as we guide young hearts toward Christ!
Classroom Schedule
Each Sunday Good Shepherd offers a hybrid Sunday school program for children aged three years and potty-trained through 5th grade. Please be sure to take your children's personal belongings (such as coats, gloves, toys) with you to the Sanctuary.
Kids in Grades 3 and up now gather in-person each Sunday at 9:20 a.m., downstairs in our children’s area.
In-person Godly Play also starts at 9:20 am downstairs
