CARING FOR OUR CHURCH FAMILY
Together We Meet the Spiritual, Physical and Emotional Needs of our Church Community
CONGREGATIONAL CARE MINISTRY
Occasionally we all go through a period when we need a little help from others and Good Shepherd's Congregational Care Ministry is here to provide short-term assistance to members of our congregation. Sometimes it's bringing a meal or helping with transportation to church services, or bringing communion when a member is recovering from illness. Everyone struggles with asking for help, so it's nice to have a ministry of caring individuals standing by to assist. If there are other ways for us to help, we want to know. Many caring hearts make this ministry possible. Volunteers provide
short term transportation to church services
short-term transportation to doctor or therapy appointments
a meal for our freezer
home visits for conversation and fellowship
greeting cards or written notes.
