Adult Forum: Following the Footsteps of Paul

Ever wonder what it’s like to take a two-week bus trip with 38 church folks including a bishop, a Pauline scholar, an archeologist, a Canon and two priests and then to live to tell about it? Well, Curt Watson, Melissa Watson and Mary Ann Panarelli made just such a pilgrimage last October and are still smiling. They want to share the story of their tour through Turkey and Greece visiting the ruins where Paul established his many churches as described in the books of Acts and Revelations. Their hope is that it may inspire other to take a pilgrimage to better understand the foundations of our faith.

We’ve got a lot to celebrate. So let’s have a party!
Sunday, July 5 following the 9:30 am service

This year our nation turns 250 years old, Colorado 150 years old, Good Shepherd 50 years old, and the city of Centennial 25 years old. So we’re throwing a birthday party bash on the day after the 4th of July. What could be more American than apple, blueberry or cherry pie? And every birthday party needs cake to go with ice cream. We’ll supply the ice cream and are counting on you to bring pies, cupcakes or ice cream toppings. For those with a healthier bent, fruit and veggies trays are welcome, too. Sign up outside the Sanctuary to let us know how many in your family will be coming and what you’ll bring to the celebration.

Spread the Love Family Outreach Event
Sunday, July 12 in the Parish Hall after the service

Join us to make 200 grab-n-go peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for folks of Metro Caring. Children, youth and adults: if you can spread peanut butter or jelly you are welcome to help.

Good Shepherd’s Program Year Schedule will resume in September.
