Turning The Page to a New Chapter
It was with mixed emotions that we said our final goodbye to Fr. Craig MacColl and his wife Ann during Fr. Craig's last service at Good Shepherd on April 15th. After 13 years of service at Good Shepherd, we were all very sad to see Fr. Craig leave, but also very grateful and honored for the chance to celebrate the positive impact that he brought to our parish during his tenure. We wish only the best for both Craig and Ann as they begin a new chapter in their lives.
As a congregation, we also begin a new chapter - one of prayer and reflection which will ultimately lead us to find our new Shepherd. We do not take the task of finding a new Rector lightly. We will be soliciting the help of our Diocese as well as seeking input from our parishioners during our transition. While this process is never easy, we know that this change will give our congregation an opportunity to become stronger, to unify our thoughts and actions for the future, and continue to do the good work God intends for Good Shepherd.
We will be sending out weekly updates to our congregation during the transition, as well as seeking feedback and asking for volunteers. The search for our next Rector begins with YOU!
