Join us for Food, Fun and Road Trips!

One of Good Shepherd Church's newest fellowship groups is Senior Singles which serves a large demographic of our church. Whether widowed, divorced or never married, if you find yourself single in these best years of your life, we encourage you to join us.

Senior Singles fellowship group has been meeting for a meal and fellowship, often with a fun theme, once a month, after a break from in-person gatherings during the pandemic. We are thrilled to be back together again to enjoy good food and friendship.  

Before the pandemic, we were taking "road trips" like our trip to visit Palisade wineries and a trip to Breckenridge to hear the National Repertory Orchestra Pops Concert. Our dinner meetings usually have an epicurean theme, i.e. French cuisine, BBQ, Mediterranean, heritage homeland foods.  These times together have created many new friendships, especially for those new to our church.  People who are part of diverse groups in the church have a chance to connect with others who serve in different ministries.

People who consider themselves seniors (AARP says 50+) are invited to participate.  Connie Branton, Good Shepherd's Choir Director, coordinates the meetings.  Please contact her for more information. Email Connie here if you are interested in joining the group.
