Connecting, Growing, and Serving the World in God's Name

The Good Shepherd Women's Ministry brings women from a variety of life stages and experiences together to connect, grow, and serve the world in Christ's name. If you are looking for a way to connect with other women and grow strong in your faith, then consider joining one of our women's groups which are described below.

Tuesday morning Faith Club

Good Shepherd's Faith Club is open to all women interested in discussing various faith issues with other women.  We derived our name from a book of the same title written by three women of faith, a Jew, a Christian, and a Muslim.  Our journey of faith has led us through the bible, world religions, novels, and much more. We encourage participation regardless of where you are on your faith journey. Weekly participation is not necessary so you may attend as your schedule permits.

We are a group of seekers on a journey exploring our faith. We read books and watch videos on spirituality, faith, and the bible as well as lighter novels, short stories, or articles during the summer months. Some reasons women in Faith Club are drawn to this group are:

  • it is a safe place to explore spirituality

  • it is open and non-judgmental

  • it is a place to be real, welcome, heard, and loved

  • it is challenging, interesting, and sometimes frustrating as it opens us to new perspectives and new possibilities that may stretch us beyond our comfort level

  • it is very flexible; come and go as your schedule and life allows

So if you are a woman who is seeking, wondering, questioning, doubting, or completely comfortable in your faith, join us Tuesday mornings at 10 am in our Chapel.
