At Good Shepherd we celebrate God's love when we gather to worship at our Sunday morning or Sunday evening services of Holy Communion. Through beautiful music, inspiring preaching and community prayers we enjoy God's presence, seek God's guidance and forgiveness, and give thanks for God's grace and love flowing our through our lives and the lives of those around us. We also invite people to participate in the life of prayer through our parish Prayer Chain, first Sunday of the month healing prayers, and at several weekly small groups and Bible/book studies.

One of the hallmarks of Episcopal worship is its flexibility. At Good Shepherd we worship from a "user friendly" worship booklet in place of the Episcopal Book of Common Prayer. This allows us to include a variety of music and community prayers for different seasons and occasions in our Communion service. Our diversity is expressed by the fact that our 7:45 am Sunday service features hymns from our Episcopal Hymnal, our 9:45 am service is a "blended" service with music both from the Hymnal and from our contemporary song book, and our 6 pm Sunday service uses contemporary music throughout.

When you visit Good Shepherd you will experience a friendly and informal worship atmosphere. Although our liturgy is ancient in origin, it is not stiff or formal and you can expect to be greeted both before and during the service since we strive to be a welcoming community.
